Dead Man’s Cell Phone

Theatre Comments Off

Dead Man’s Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl is a comedic play in which Ruhl makes her point about technology and its effects on society today by telling the story of a young woman who stumbles upon the phone of a man who has just died in a diner. After answering the ringing phone, she gets wrapped up in the life of this complete stranger and works to fit the pieces back together. The question is whether technology unites us together or makes us more disconnected than ever.
