| The beginnings of Leave Your Mark Productions began with the Theatre department with a single show known as The Servant of Two Mastersin Fall of 2008. This small show with only a few people involved has since then grown into an entire department producing 7 shows a year and presenting many other entertainment groups around the state. The family at Leave Your Mark Productions has continued to grow over the past few years to include over 250 people in its productions in a year. This department alone will entertain more than 3,000 people in the Tallahassee region in its third year.Our theatre will give a new definition to quality for students, as this is their opportunity to fully produce the shows in the season with a professional atmosphere, bringing the knowledge and respect of theatre as it has been while merging it with creative minds with a new generation to produce fantastic theatre.Our work has quickly been noticed and recognized by Florida State University, The Atlantic Coast Conference Fellowship, Tarell Alvin McCraney, and many more as we continue to drive forward. Our artistic, technical, and administrative ensemble has been able to escalate the FSU and Tallahassee community to a new awareness of the theatrical arts and the creative outlets found through the theatre. This has led to over 50 recent performances with many more to come, and a program that hasn’t been matched by other students. Now being more and more established with each production in the Tallahassee arts scene, Leave Your Mark Productions has grown to win a number of awards and has vowed to not slow down the pace and keep the arts thriving wherever the company may work. |
